On October 7, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2), accompanied by Mr. Warit Choosakul, Senior Professional Level Policy and Plan Analyst, and Mr. Thanakorn Kaeojaroon, Professional Level Economist, attended the 1/2026 Meeting of the Agricultural Sub-committee under the Phu Fa Development Center Royal Project Initiated by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn via Zoom Meeting, with Mr. Pornthep Srithanatorn, Inspector General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, presiding over the meeting.
The meeting acknowledged the integrated performance outcomes across three target areas for Fiscal Year 2026, as well as the project monitoring and evaluation report of the Phu Fa Development Center conducted by the Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE). The report highlighted achievements in career promotion and development, knowledge transfer, and production input support, along with multidimensional impacts on farmers across economic, social, and environmental aspects and the continuity of project activities, providing key findings and recommendations to guide future area-based operations.
For matters to consider, Dr. Pimonpan Sakidram, Director of Nan Community College, presented in-depth spatial and commodity-specific analytical study results covering key agricultural products. The presentation encompassed area potential assessments, supply chain product development roadmaps, and spatial, academic, and policy recommendations designed to address community-specific needs—ranging from foundational production and value-added processing to farmer grouping and market linkages.
The meeting resolved to utilize this data for subsequent planning phases, assigning agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC) to incorporate the study findings, consultant recommendations, OAE monitoring results, and committee feedback into reviewing and formulating their respective operational action plans for Fiscal Year 2027, ensuring alignment with local potential, issues, and area demands.
Concurrently, the Phu Fa Development Center Royal Project, in collaboration with the Nan Provincial Agricultural and Cooperatives Office, was assigned to apply these findings toward formulating the 5-Year Master Plan of the Phu Fa Development Center Royal Project (2028–2032 / B.E. 2571–2575), systematically integrating spatial data, monitoring results, and cross-sectoral recommendations into the long-term development framework.
