Director of ROAE2, alongside ROAE2 personnel, attended the Meeting of the Administrative and Mission-Driving Committee of ROAE 1–12, establishing operational frameworks and monitoring the FY 2027 budget

On October 20, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2 Phitsanulok), accompanied by division directors, the Head of the Administrative Branch, and ROAE2 personnel, attended the Meeting of the Administrative and Mission-Driving Committee of the Regional Offices of Agricultural Economics 1–12 (ROAE 1–12) at the Meeting Room of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics via Zoom Cloud Meetings, with Mr. Krongsak Songraksa, Deputy Secretary-General of the Office of Agricultural Economics, presiding over the meeting.

On this occasion, the meeting acknowledged the appointment order of the Administrative and Mission-Driving Committee of ROAE 1–12. The committee is tasked with defining operational guidelines for budgeted work plans, projects, and activities; supporting, supervising, and monitoring operational implementation and budget disbursements; and reporting performance outcomes, obstacles, and proposed solutions to executives to establish a unified direction and standardized operations across ROAE 1–12.

In addition, the meeting acknowledged the progress on the review of regional administrative reorganization and the operational guidelines of the Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE). OAE prepared preliminary baseline data for ROAE 1–12 spanning four core missions: agricultural information compilation and management, monitoring and evaluation, agro-economic study and analysis, and the formulation of agro-economic zone development plans and agro-economic condition assessments, serving as reference for determining future regional operational directions.

For the key agenda for consideration, the meeting deliberated on the operational action plan and budget expenditure plan for Fiscal Year 2027 of ROAE 1–12. The plan encompasses 3 strategic programs, 6 projects, 12 main activities, and 20 sub-activities under the Economic Policy Framework (ECON Policy Framework), systematically linking operations from data generation and management, agro-economic situational analysis, spatial research and analysis, and monitoring and evaluation, to supporting agricultural commodity management at the provincial level.

Key missions under the FY 2027 plan include compiling production cost data, surveying yield per rai, monitoring local agricultural production and price trends, upgrading field surveys through digital technology, generating information to support provincial commodity management, conducting in-depth spatial agro-economic analyses, and evaluating regional agro-economic conditions—providing essential datasets to support agricultural policy analysis and strategic decision-making.

Concurrently, the meeting considered frameworks for tracking operational progress and budget disbursements to ensure that the committee can continuously monitor advancements, issues, and corrective measures. Any urgent matters must be reported promptly to the committee for joint consideration, ensuring that missions achieve their targets with efficiency, fiscal discipline, and maximum effectiveness.
