From November 10-23, 2025, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (ROAE2), assigned Mr. Chat Naowaphananon, a statistician and Mr. Phutthasak Ritkham, a photogrammetrician. Field surveys of agricultural information in the six provinces under its responsibility (Tak, Sukhothai, Phrae, Nan, Uttaradit, and Phitsanulok) were conducted in accordance with the integrated work plan with the Agricultural Information Center (AIC) for fiscal year 2026, as follows:
- Survey of changes in labor wages and input prices for dry-season rice in 2026; soybeans, second crop year 2025/26 crop year; corn, first crop year 2026/27 crop year; and Pattavia pineapple, rubber, oil palm, sweet orange, and coffee in 2026.
- Survey of cultivated area data using geospatial information technology for sweet oranges in 2025.
The data obtained from the surveys by ROAE2 will be entered into the data system of the Agricultural Information Center, OAE, will analyze and compile data for provincial, regional, and national levels, and use as input for agricultural policy and measures. To plan for the country’s future agricultural development.
