Director of ROAE2 presented a report on the agricultural economic situation at the 1/2026 meeting of the Joint Public-Private Sector Committee to Address Economic Issues in the Lower Northern Provinces Group 1 in Sukhothai Province.

On November 28, 2025, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2), attended and presented a report on the agricultural economic situation for 2025 and the 2026 outlook for the Lower Northern Provinces Group 1 to the Joint Public-Private Sector Committee for consideration and determination of overall economic solutions for the Lower Northern Provinces Group 1 as the 1st/2026 meeting. The meeting took place at the Fueang Fah Meeting Room, Sukhothai Treasure Resort & Spa, Mueang Sukhothai District, Sukhothai Province. The meeting was attended by Mr. Boonluea Baramee, Deputy Governor of Phitsanulok Province, Miss Sarinrat Kerdsakulrungroj, Deputy Governor of Sukhothai Province, and Mr. Phacharaset Bunsirisarisa. The Deputy Governor of Uttaradit Province presided over the meeting.

The meeting addressed six topics:

  • Report on the Economic Situation of the Lower Northern Provinces Group 1 in 2025 and Outlook for 2026 (by the Phitsanulok Provincial Treasury)
  • Report on the Industrial Economic Situation of the Lower Northern Provinces Group 1 in 2025 and Outlook for 2026 (by the Phitsanulok Provincial Industry Office)
  • Report on the Tourism Situation of the Lower Northern Provinces Group 1 in 2025 and Outlook for 2026 (by the Phitsanulok Provincial Tourism and Sports Office)
  • Report on the Agricultural Economic Situation of the Lower Northern Provinces Group 1 in 2025 and Outlook for 2026 (by the Director of the ROAE2)
  • Report on Tourism Promotion Activities of the Lower Northern Provinces Group 1 in the First Quarter of Fiscal Year 2026 (by the Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand) Phitsanulok Office or Representative)
  • Development of a Smart and Environmentally Friendly Transport Roadmap along the LIMEC Economic Corridor for the Lower Northern Provinces (by the Dean of the Faculty of Logistics and Digital Supply Chain, Naresuan University)

To consider the implementation guidelines for the Joint Public-Private Sector Committee to Address Economic Issues in the Lower Northern Provinces Group 1.
