ROAE2 participated in a workshop on “Increasing the Efficiency of Data Collection for Crop Production Costs, Employment Rates, and Agricultural Machinery.”

On December 1-3, 2025, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics Region 2 (Director of ROAE2, Phitsanulok), assigned Mr. Chat Naowaphananon, Senior Statistician, Miss Rungthiwa Thabpaen, Operating Economist, and Miss Suwicha Kitchawan, Operating Statistician, to participate in a workshop on “Increasing the Efficiency of Data Collection for Crop Production Costs, Employment Rates, and Agricultural Machinery.” Field trips included:

  • Location 1: Chia Tai Experience Service Center, Bang Nam Priao District, Chachoengsao Province, to learn about modern agricultural technologies, innovations, and knowledge.
  • Location 2: Kubota Farm, Ban Bueng District, Chonburi Province, to study agricultural machinery and its operational systems.

Following this, a presentation was held on the Agriculture Service Provider (ASP) policy and guidelines for surveying agricultural machinery service rates to gain a deeper understanding of the agricultural data collection process. Field visits were also conducted at four test plot locations: Nong Prue Subdistrict (Points 1-2), Mon Nang Subdistrict (Point 3), and Wat Bot Subdistrict (Point 4), Phanat Nikhom District, Chonburi Province. The training included field data collection and evening wage calculations to ensure participants could apply the knowledge to real-world operations accurately and to standardized standards.

Mrs. Thanthita Bunyamaneekul, Deputy Secretary-General of the OAE, presided over the opening ceremony. Dr. Krit Iamthanon, Director of the Agricultural Information Center, also provided a report on the objectives of the training.
