On December 23, 2025, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2), assigned Miss Rungthiwa Thappaen, an operational economist, to attend the 10th meeting of the Nan Province Agricultural Disaster Monitoring and Mitigation Center Committee for the year 2025. The meeting was held at the meeting room of the Nan Provincial Agriculture and Cooperatives Office, 4th floor, Nan Provincial Hall, and via Zoom Cloud Meeting. Mr. Krisana Amphan, the Nan Provincial Agriculture and Cooperatives Officer, chaired the meeting.
The purpose of the meeting was to receive information on weather conditions, monthly weather forecasts, water situation data, agricultural disaster warnings, progress in providing assistance to farmers affected by agricultural disasters, and measures to prevent and mitigate agricultural burning in Nan Province for the year 2025/2026.
The meeting also considered the draft agricultural disaster prevention and mitigation plan during the dry season of 2025/2026, Nan Province.
