On December 26, 2025, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2), participated in the 12th/2025 Executive Meeting of the OAE via ZOOM. Mr. Phiraphan Khothong, Acting Secretary-General of the Office of Agricultural Economics, chaired the meeting.
The meeting focused on monitoring progress on four issues:
- Human resource management;
- Budget disbursement results for fiscal year 2026 of the Office of Agricultural Economics;
- Carryover funds from fiscal year 2025;
- Investment budget for fiscal year 2026;
Four other issues were discussed:
- Study of the marginal cost of greenhouse gas reduction for key crops (rice, animal feed corn, oil palm);
- Agricultural news issues of interest to the media. During December 2025:
- Report on the status of the welfare fund, welfare housing, and savings fund of the Office of Agricultural Economics.
- Policies and guidelines for disseminating information and public relations materials.
Consideration of the development of an automated question-and-answer system (AI Chatbot) to support access to open government data in agriculture.
Other matters include the organization of the Phayao Lake Flower Festival and tourism event.
