On January 7, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (ROAE2), attended the Provincial Agricultural Development Committee Meeting, Sukhothai Province, 1/2026, at the Khao Tok Phra Ruang Meeting Room, Sukhothai Rice Seed Center, Sawankhalok District, Sukhothai Province. Ms. Sasipimol Chaiyaenpong, Sukhothai Provincial Agriculture and Cooperatives Officer, chaired the meeting.
The meeting addressed five issues:
- Current water situation and forecast for Sukhothai Province.
- Agricultural disaster situation (assistance for crops, fisheries, and livestock).
- Directives from the Sukhothai Provincial Command Center Meeting on Prevention and Resolution of Forest Fires, Haze, and PM2.5 Pollution, 2025-2026. Fiscal Year 2026, Meeting No. 1
- Preparation of the Provincial Agricultural and Cooperative Action Plan and progress report for Fiscal Year 2026 (Quarter 1)
- Preparation of village-level agricultural development plans under the project for collecting agricultural data at the local level, Fiscal Year 2026, activity of creating a dataset of village-level agricultural development plans.
To consider the selection of target groups to drive the development of grassroots economy and the Pracharat (People’s State) initiative in Sukhothai Province, Fiscal Year 2026, in the agricultural sector.
