On January 12, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (ROAE2), participated in a meeting to develop the Self-Sufficiency Ratio (SSR) for key agricultural products at the provincial level in 2025. Mr. Krisana Amphun, Provincial Agriculture and Cooperatives Officer of Nan Province, chaired the meeting.
The meeting focused on two topics:
- Thailand’s Food Management Action Plan, Phase 1 (2023-2027)
- Guidelines for calculating the Self-Sufficiency Ratio (SSR) for key agricultural products at the provincial level in 2025
- Selection of at least 10 key agricultural products from each province (covering crops, livestock, and fisheries)
- Criteria for selecting key agricultural products at the provincial level
To consider establishing the Self-Sufficiency Ratio (SSR) for key agricultural products at the provincial level in 2025 (crops, livestock, and fisheries).
In this regard, the Director of the ROAE2 presented the guidelines for calculating the Self-Sufficiency Ratio (SSR).
