On January 15, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2, Phitsanulok), assigned Miss Rungthiwa Thappaen, an operational economist, to attend the 1st meeting of the Agricultural Disaster Monitoring and Mitigation Center Committee of Uttaradit Province for the year 2026 via Zoom Cloud Meeting. Ms. Kanok-orn Saeng-arun, the Provincial Agriculture and Cooperatives Officer of Uttaradit, chaired the meeting.
The purpose of the meeting was to receive reports on weather conditions in the area, the water situation and management plans, the results of efforts to prevent and mitigate agricultural burning in 2026/2027, disaster situations, and reports on the situation and assistance provided. This report covers the impacts of floods in the area in 2025, the disaster warning and relief situation regarding crops, fisheries, and livestock, the farm-gate price report for January 2026, measures to assist farmers cultivating both dry-season and wet-season rice, and considerations for agricultural disaster prevention and mitigation during the 2025/2026 dry season, implementation of measures to prevent and address agricultural burning in 2025/2026, and guidelines for managing agricultural waste in 2026.
