On January 17, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2 Phitsanulok), assigned Miss Mayuchat Niyom, Head of the General Administration Division, along with staff from the General Administration Division, to participate in the State Ceremony Commemorating King Ramkhamhaeng the Great Day 2026 to pay homage and commemorate the benevolent reign of King Ramkhamhaeng the Great at the central stage dome of the Phitsanulok Provincial Hall. Mr. Kiattisak Trongsiri, Governor of Phitsanulok Province, presided over the ceremony.
King Ramkhamhaeng the Great was a king of the Sukhothai Kingdom who made significant contributions to the Thai nation, particularly in inventing the Thai alphabet, establishing principles of governance based on righteousness, and promoting the prosperity of religion, economy, and culture—fundamentals of Thai society to this day.
