On January 19, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (ROAE2), along with Mr. Thanakorn Kaewcharoon, Senior Economist, participated in the 1st Meeting of the Sub-Committee on Agriculture for the Phu Fah Development Center Project under the Royal Initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, 2026, via Zoom. Ms. Thatsanee Mueangkeaw, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, chaired the meeting.
The meeting addressed three issues:
- Progress report on the implementation of resolutions from the 1st Meeting of the Sub-Committee on Agriculture, 2025, held on August 21, 2025.
- Review of the work plan/project/activity, indicators, target values, and extension of the timeframe for implementation guidelines. (Agriculture Sector) Phu Fah Development Center Project, 2020-2025
- Review of the composition of the Sub-Committee on Agriculture for the Phu Fah Development Center Project under the Royal Initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
- Summary of operations (Agriculture Sector) of the Phu Fah Development Center Project under the Royal Initiative, Fiscal Year 2025, of agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives.
- Plan and operational results of the Phu Fah Development Center Project under the Royal Initiative, Fiscal Year 2026, of agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (Quarter 1).
To consider proposals for integrating the operations of the Phu Fah Development Center Project under the Royal Initiative in Fiscal Year 2026 in 3 target areas:
- Upstream area of 720 rai (Huai Pha Bong, Huai I, and Huai Aam watershed)
- Ban Sop Puen, Huai Kon Subdistrict, Chaloem Phra Kiat District, Nan Province
- Ban Huai Kan, Khun Nan Subdistrict Chaloem Phra Kiat District, Nan Province
