On January 20, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2), along with Mrs. Suthathip Srisapphakit, Director of the Agricultural Economic Zone Development Planning Division, and Mr. Thanakorn Kaewcharoon, Senior Economist, participated in a training session on “Ready for OECD: The Role of the Office of Agricultural Economics in Driving the Thai Agricultural Sector Towards OECD Membership,” organized by the International Economics Division via Zoom. Dr. Kanjana Khwanmuang, Deputy Secretary-General of the Office of Agricultural Economics, presided over the opening ceremony.
Dr. Kanjana Khwanmuang, Deputy Secretary-General of the Office of Agricultural Economics, specially lectures were given by Dr. Kanjana on the role of Head of Mission in the Committee for Agriculture (COAC) under the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development) framework.
Ms. Kittima Chintanasondhi, Director of the International Organizations and Strategy Division, lectured on the history of the OECD, Thailand’s membership process, adaptation, and the operations of the Office of Agricultural Economics.
