From January 28-30, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (ROAE2), along with Miss Panrada Tharuean, Director of the Agricultural Information Division, and staff from the Agricultural Information Division, participated in a seminar on “Safe Agriculture, Standardized Thai Agriculture” at the Kantary Bay Hotel, Rayong Province. Mr. Khrongsak Songraksa, Deputy Secretary-General of the Office of Agricultural Economics, presided over the opening ceremony, and Miss Anyada Phenphorn, Agricultural Statistics System Expert, presented the report.
The objectives of the training were to improve operations and provide guidelines for developing future data collection on safe agricultural products; to gather opinions and exchange perspectives on developing indicators of the impact of safe agricultural products according to Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) standards, covering five key agricultural products: rice, durian, broiler chicken, chicken eggs, and whiteleg shrimp, in line with the goals of food security and public health.
