On February 5, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (ROAE2), assigned Mrs. Suthathip Srisapphakit, Director of the Agricultural Economic Zone Development Planning Division, to attend the 2nd Joint Public-Private Sector Committee Meeting to Address Economic Problems in the Lower Northern Thailand 1 Provincial Cluster (JPC Meeting), 2026, at the Phra Sri Sasada Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, Phitsanulok Provincial Hall. Mr. Kiattisak Trongsiri, Governor of Phitsanulok Province, chaired the meeting.
Objectives of the meeting:
- To acknowledge the cooperation between the public and private sectors in addressing economic problems and driving development in the Lower Northern Thailand 1 Provincial Cluster.
- To consider and discuss guidelines for organizing a GI Fair/GI Expo in the Lower Northern Thailand 1 Provincial Cluster.
During the meeting, the ROAE2 reported on the production situation and prices of off-season rice. And cassava in 2026 in the Lower Northern Thailand 1 provincial cluster area, so that relevant agencies are informed and can use this information for efficient commodity management.
