On February 19, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (ROAE2) and the Chair of the Sub-Committee on Agricultural Information Development of ROAE1-12, led a group of participants in the workshop on “Information Development to Support Provincial-Level Agricultural Commodity Management,” particularly photogrammetric specialists from the Agricultural Information Division of ROAE1-12, to conduct fieldwork on the application of agricultural geospatial technology (Geo-Informatics: GI). This included surveying, verifying spatial data from geospatial information, and analyzing agricultural information on key agricultural commodities with potential at the provincial level. The fieldwork covered two Robusta and Arabica coffee plots (San Charoen coffee and Suan Ya Luang coffee) in Tha Wang Pha District and two animal feed maize plots in Wiang Sa District, Nan Province, totaling four plots.
This activity provides an opportunity for photogrammetric specialists to review their knowledge and understanding of work processes, and for statisticians to discuss and exchange ideas in order to support the development of more accurate data that better reflects the actual situation at the provincial level.
