On February 23, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (ROAE2), attended the 2nd meeting of the Working Group to Resolve Problems of the Huai Na Hin Farmers’ Group, Tambon Sathan, Nan Noi District, Nan Province, 2026, at the Chao Maha Phrom Surathada Meeting Room, 6th Floor, Nan Provincial Hall, Mueang Nan District, Nan Province. The meeting was chaired by Assistant Professor Sitang Philaila, Advisor to the Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, and Mr. Banjong Khunphet, Deputy Governor of Nan Province, served as vice-chairman.
The purpose of the meeting was to acknowledge the appointment of three sub-working groups:
- A sub-working group to survey the land and agricultural areas of the Huai Na Hin farmers’ group, Tambon Sathan, Nan Noi District, Nan Province.
- A sub-working group to restore and develop the occupations and income of the farmers. Huai Nam Hin Farmers’ Group, Tambon Sathan, Nan Noi District, Nan Province
- Sub-committee to investigate damage claims and consider compensation criteria for lost opportunities for farmers in the Huai Nam Hin Farmers’ Group, Tambon Sathan, Nan Noi District, Nan Province.
To review the performance of the three sub-committees, with the Director of the ROAE2 participating as a member of Sub-committee 3 (Sub-committee to investigate damage claims and consider compensation criteria for lost opportunities for farmers).
