On May 1, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2), along with Mrs. Suthathip Srisapphakit, Director of the Agricultural Economic Zone Development Plan Division, attended a preparatory meeting for the official inspection visit of the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives (Miss Piyarat Tiyapairat) in Phitsanulok province. The meeting was held at the Phra Attharot Meeting Room, Phitsanulok Provincial Agriculture and Cooperatives Office, 5th Floor, Phitsanulok Provincial Hall, Mueang Phitsanulok District, Phitsanulok Province. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Jadet Chanthra, Assistant Secretary to the Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives.
The issues discussed were as follows:
- Tracking the results of driving policies into practice at the area level:
- Water management within and outside the irrigation areas by agencies under the Royal Irrigation Department and the Land Development Department (the results of farm pond excavation).
- The management of the province’s high-value agricultural products in the fiscal year 2026 and promotion guidelines for 2027 and 2028.
- Guidelines and results of driving measures to reduce burning by provincial agricultural agencies.
- The promotion of after-rice crops, livestock farming, and aquaculture to generate income and reduce expenses.
- The implementation of the tailored fertilizer project, the reduction of chemical fertilizer usage, and the promotion of bio-fertilizer usage at the local level.
- The operational results of issuing SPK 4-01 title deeds, problems, obstacles, and problem-solving guidelines.
- The marketing operations for the province’s agricultural products, especially specific products that can create added value (GI, GAP, Organic).
