On June 5, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2 Phitsanulok), assigned Mr. Thanakon Kaeojaroon, Senior Economist, to attend the 2/2026 Meeting of the Agricultural Working Group for the Phufa Development Center Project under the Royal Initiative in Nan Province. The meeting was conducted via Zoom Meetings and was chaired by Mr. Kritsana Amphan, Nan Provincial Agricultural and Cooperatives Officer.
The primary objective of the meeting was to monitor the agricultural operational progress of the Phufa Development Center Project under the Royal Initiative for the fiscal year 2026. Member agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives jointly reported their third-quarter (Q3) performance, while exchanging data and strategic feedback to drive area-based development under the Royal Initiative, ensuring maximum efficiency and benefits for local farmers.
During the session, Mr. Thanakon Kaeojaroon presented the project’s monitoring and evaluation report to the committee. The presentation highlighted key project achievements, operational constraints, and targeted recommendations, reflecting the progress made and the tangible benefits farmers have received from the collaborative efforts of local partner agencies.
Furthermore, the committee discussed integration frameworks for the project’s expansion in the upcoming 2027 fiscal year, focusing on an additional target area at Ban Nam Ree Phattana, Moo 12, Khun Nan Sub-district, Chaloem Phra Kiat District, Nan Province. Attendees also analyzed regional data to review and draft the project’s 5-Year Agricultural Action Plan (2028–2032) to guide future development in alignment with local potential.
