On June 9, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2), assigned Miss Panrada Tharuean, Director of the Agricultural Information Division, along with division officers, to attend the 5/2026 Meeting of the Agricultural Information Committee.
The meeting was held at Meeting Room 1, 3rd Floor, Innovation Building, Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE), and via Zoom Cloud Meetings. The session was presided over and chaired by Dr. Krit Iamthanon, Director of the Center for Agricultural Information.
The primary objective of the meeting was to deliberate and approve the agricultural production forecasts as of June 2026, covering key crop and fishery commodities:
- Crop Products:
- 2025/2026 Crop Year: Off-season rice.
- 2026/2027 Crop Year: Major rice, feed maize, soybeans, industrial cassava, and coffee.
- 2026 Production Year: Pattavia pineapples, Para rubber, oil palm, mature coconuts, longan, lychee, durian, rambutan, mangosteen, and longkong.
- Fishery Products (Year 2026):
- Whiteleg shrimp (Vannamei), black tiger shrimp, Nile tilapia, and catfish.
