On June 18, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2 Phitsanulok), assigned officers from the Research and Evaluation Division to organize a stakeholder focus group meeting. The session was held under the Socio-Economic Monitoring Project of the Nam Ki Reservoir, Nan Province at the 2nd Floor Meeting Room, Tha Wang Pha District Office, Nan Province.
The meeting was presided over and chaired by Mr. Suphot Changsan, Head of Construction Unit 1 at the Large-scale Irrigation Construction Office 2, Bureau of Large Scale Water Resources Development (Nan Province). During the session, Mr. Warit Chusakul, Director of the Research and Evaluation Division, presented the structural framework of the Nam Ki Reservoir project alongside its preliminary study findings.
The primary objectives of this focus group meeting were:
- Project Alignment: To clarify and outline the operational goals of the socio-economic monitoring framework for the surrounding communities.
- Review Preliminary Findings: To deliberate and evaluate the initial baseline data compiled on the socio-economic conditions of the population affected by the Nam Ki Reservoir project.
- Stakeholder Feedback: To collectively gather feedback, localized insights, and constructive opinions from community representatives and officials regarding the preliminary study results.
