Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2 Phitsanulok), assigned Miss Siriphen Wongwat, Statistical Officer, to conduct comprehensive field data collection and monitor localized agricultural commodity situations from June 19 to 30, 2026.
The field operations targeted ground-level interviews and data gathering from relevant public sector agencies, private sector entrepreneurs, and local farmers across three primary provinces: Phitsanulok, Sukhothai, and Tak.
Core Objectives & Data Utilization
The primary objective of this field tracking initiative is to gather high-fidelity primary data to feed into regional economic models. The compiled insights will be utilized as follows:
- Provincial Economic Forecasting: To analyze and forecast localized agricultural economic conditions for the second quarter of 2026 (Q2/2026) alongside the comprehensive 2026 annual outlook.
- Executive Decision Support: To provide up-to-date, verified economic indicators to the executive board of the Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE) as well as provincial governors and leadership teams.
- Strategic Policy & Planning: To empower provincial agencies to utilize real-time insights when formulating targeted development plans, promoting agricultural aid projects, and executing responsive, timely mitigation measures tailored to unfolding field conditions.
