On July 1, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2), assigned Miss Panrada Tharuean, Director of the Agricultural Information Division, to participate in the 1/2026 Data Governance Committee Meeting of the Office of Agricultural Economics.
The session was held at Meeting Room 1, 3rd Floor of the Innovation Building at the Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE) headquarters, alongside remote participants via Zoom. The meeting was presided over and chaired by Mr. Chonawat Sitthithoon, Deputy Secretary-General of the OAE.
The committee convened to synchronize internal data handling standards, review working group outputs, and evaluate regulatory frameworks, organized into the following agendas:
Matters for Acknowledgment
- Data Governance Working Group Progress: Reviewing the recent operational outputs, framework implementations, and milestones achieved by the OAE Data Governance Working Group.
- Personal Data Protection Updates: Acknowledging the performance and compliance activities executed by the OAE Personal Data Protection Working Group.
Matters for Consideration
- Privacy Development Roadmap: Deliberating on the adoption of the Data Protection Maturity Development Plan (Privacy Maturity Model) designed to systematically upgrade the agency’s data security safeguards.
- Draft Data Processing Agreement (DPA): Reviewing and refining the legal framework of the Draft Data Processing Agreement (DPA) to establish clear compliance boundaries and security protocols for data processing across internal and external networks.
