On August 23, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2 Phitsanulok), assigned Miss Panrada Tharuean, Director of the Agricultural Information Division, to attend the flood situation monitoring meeting for the Northern and Northeastern regions held in Nan Province. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, presided over the meeting and delivered policy directives for government agencies to work in unity for public safety at the Phra Chao Suriyaphong Pharitdet Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, Nan City Hall, with provincial governors across the Northern and Northeastern regions participating via video conference.

The water situation in Nan Province has currently returned to normal; however, forces remain on standby as it is still the rainy season, during which disasters may occur.

Directives: All agencies were instructed to accelerate rehabilitation in disaster-stricken areas, swiftly restore damaged transportation routes to service, and closely monitor data to forecast floods or flash floods. Agencies were also urged to issue warnings to the public through various communication networks to mitigate potential damage, emphasizing that all sectors must operate with unity, holding public safety as the foremost priority.
