On September 12, 2026, Mr. Peeraphan Korthong, Secretary-General of the Office of Agricultural Economics, assigned Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2), along with Miss Kittiwan Prasitthiphol, Practitioner Policy and Plan Analyst, to attend as honored guests at the opening ceremony of the “New Smart Farmer Enhancement Innovation Forum: Agri-Innovation Forum” project at Sukhothai Wittayakom School, Mueang Sukhothai District, Sukhothai Province, with Miss Piyarat Tiyapairat, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, presiding over the opening ceremony, and Mrs. Anchalee Suwachittanon, Director-General of the Department of Agricultural Extension, delivering the reporting address.
On this occasion, executives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, representatives, and heads of government agencies under the Ministry in Sukhothai Province toured the exhibitions featured at the event, which included:
- “Cultivating the New Generation of Smart Farmers” exhibition (New Smart Farmer Development Working Group)
- Technological datasets exhibition for key agricultural commodities, including rice, para rubber, oil palm, cassava, durian, fisheries, and livestock (6 agencies)
- Exhibition on empowering new Smart Farmers, Land Development Department (LDD) microbial innovations for soil health, and farm accounting (Land Development Department and Department of Cooperative Auditing)
- Technology packages and digital platforms exhibition (Young Smart Farmer representatives)
- Smart Farmer curriculum and platform development exhibition (Thailand Professional Qualification Institute)
- Smart Farm technology exhibition (Siam Kubota Corporation Co., Ltd.)
- Credit and financial loan services exhibition for new Smart Farmers (Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives)
- Exemplary farmers in technology and innovation showcase: Young Smart Farmer Idol Showcase (6 booths)
- High-value agricultural products showcase (51 booths)
