The Director of ROAE2 expressed appreciation to the private sector for promoting coffee production in northern areas, establishing market linkages through the Chamber of Commerce that can accommodate substantial volumes of farm produce. Appreciation was also extended to the Tourism Council of Phitsanulok for actively pushing “Ban Rong Kla Coffee” to obtain Geographical Indication (GI) registration as another signature GI product of Phitsanulok, as well as for off-taking medicinal herbs from the Tha Chang Community Enterprise, Wat Bot District, Phitsanulok Province, to supply wellness, beauty, and spa processing industries.
Furthermore, the Director of ROAE2 urged private sector entrepreneurs to recognize the importance of mutually determining transparent purchase volumes and grading standards between farmers and buyers. This coordination facilitates balanced, well-planned production through fair contract farming agreements that ensure mutual satisfaction. Additionally, she highlighted to the assembly that empowering farmers to increase market-ready yields of major agricultural commodities through enhanced quality—securing favorable prices, lowering production costs, and generating net positive, cost-effective returns—directly bolsters the agricultural Gross Provincial Product (GPP).
