Director of ROAE2 and agency personnel attended a meeting to receive operational policy guidance for the Office of Agricultural Economics in Fiscal Year 2027 from Mr. Rapibhat Chandarasrivongs, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives

On October 1, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2 Phitsanulok), together with division directors, the Head of the Administrative Branch, and ROAE2 personnel, attended a meeting via Zoom Meeting at the ROAE2 meeting room to receive operational driving guidelines and performance monitoring for the Office of Agricultural Economics in Fiscal Year 2027 delivered by Mr. Rapibhat Chandarasrivongs, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives. The main meeting was convened at the Phueng Boon Meeting Room, 8th Floor, Vision Building, Office of Agricultural Economics, with Mr. Pongthai Thaiyothin, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, OAE executive management, and staff members from both central and regional offices attending to receive the policy directives.

On this occasion, Mr. Peeraphan Korthong, Secretary-General of the Office of Agricultural Economics, presented the key missions, roles, and major operational priorities of the Office of Agricultural Economics to be implemented in Fiscal Year 2027, including:

  • Formulation of the Agricultural and Cooperatives Development Plan for 2028–2032 (B.E. 2571–2575)
  • Secretarial support for policy-level committees
  • Advancing international agricultural economics and elevating Insights & Analytics
  • Publishing agro-economic reports and analytical briefs
  • Data system development and Digital/AI Transformation to deliver comprehensive public services across all dimensions

Furthermore, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives underscored driving the government’s active policies under the vision “Market-Led Production, Market-Led Research, High-Value Safe Agricultural Products” to yield prompt, tangible outcomes. He emphasized digitizing and integrating agricultural datasets from all agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC) into the National Agricultural Big Data Center (NABC). This connection will advance the utilization of data for situational analysis, policy and measure recommendations to resolve issues and develop the agricultural sector, and the monitoring and evaluation of key agricultural projects to refine and enhance implementation in upcoming phases.
