The meeting was attended by division directors, the branch head, and ROAE2 personnel, with the Agro-Economic Research and Program Evaluation Division serving as the meeting secretariat.
On this occasion, the meeting monitored and exchanged essential operational information concerning ROAE2, encompassing internal administrative management, driving missions under the policies of the Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE), and preparing for Fiscal Year 2027 operations to ensure interconnected and unified implementation across all divisions and branches.
Key agenda items covered guidelines for service contracting under the new system of the Comptroller General’s Department, outcomes of the Meeting of the Administrative and Mission-Driving Committee of ROAE 1–12, and the operational action plan and budget expenditure plan for Fiscal Year 2027, which serve as the fundamental framework for determining ROAE2’s readiness and operational direction in the upcoming fiscal year.
Regarding public relations, the meeting acknowledged the Public Relations Plan for Fiscal Year 2027, along with ROAE2’s public relations performance outcomes for October 2026 and notable topical issues of the month—such as UPOV 1991 and CPRAM holy basil—to ensure comprehensive understanding of current developments and support effective agency communication.
Furthermore, seasonal agricultural commodity situations were reported, covering major rice, feed maize, soybeans, Pattavia pineapple, oil palm, and tangerines, enabling personnel to stay informed on key commodity trends and effectively utilize the data in their relevant mission areas.
The meeting also acknowledged internal administration matters, including energy consumption results, energy-saving measures for Fiscal Year 2027, the 5S activity plan, housing allowance reimbursement welfare, as well as cybersecurity awareness and social media usage literacy, aimed at enhancing personnel readiness.
For the agenda to consider, the meeting jointly deliberated on the operational action plans for Fiscal Year 2027 across all four divisions and branches: the Agricultural Information Division, the Agro-Economic Research and Program Evaluation Division, the Agro-Economic Zone Development Planning Division, and the Administrative Branch, thereby aligning their collective missions to systematically drive ROAE2’s goals.
