On October 6, 2015, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2, Phitsanulok), along with Mrs. Suthatip Srisapphakit, Director of the Agricultural Economic Zone Development Plan Division, visited Sukhothai Province to monitor the flood situation with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives (Captain Thammanat Prompao), along with senior executives from the MOAC (the Permanent Secretary of the MOAC, the Director-General of the Royal Irrigation Department, the Director of the MOAC Region 17, the Deputy Director-General, and the Inspector-General of the MOAC) and heads of departments under the MOAC in Sukhothai Province. Mr. Nopparit Sirikosol, Governor of Sukhothai Province, welcomed the visit and traveled to the Kong Subdistrict Administrative Organization. Kong Krailat District, Sukhothai Province, distributed 700 relief bags and 10 floating toilets.
Farmers affected by the floods are requested to register with the MOAC to identify their actual damaged agricultural areas. Relevant agencies have been assigned to procure rice seeds, animal feed, and livestock medicines for affected farmers, while promoting the sustainable restoration of agricultural production infrastructure.
