On November 6, 2025, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2), along with Miss Panrada Tharuean, Senior Policy and Planning Analyst, Mr. Phutthasak Ritkham, Photogrammetry Specialist, and officers of the Agricultural Information Division, attended the 9th/2025 meeting of the Agricultural Information Committee, ROAE1-12, via Zoom Cloud Meeting. Chaired by Miss Anyada Penporn, Agricultural Statistics Information Systems Specialist, the meeting was held.
The objective was to present the results of the interpretation and analysis of the dry-season rice planting area in 2025. The meeting noted significant discrepancies in the data compared to forecast data from GISTDA and the Field Crop Production Information Division, particularly in some provinces, such as Nakhon Sawan, Phetchabun, Saraburi, Bangkok, and Chachoengsao, where the figures differed significantly. Therefore, the Data Analysis Division has been assigned to re-examine and verify data in the provinces in question. The department will also update comparative data from GISTDA and the Field Crop Production Information Division to ensure accuracy and up-to-dateness. This will be presented at the next meeting in late November 2025.
