ROAE2 conducted field surveys of information technology data in six provinces, as part of a joint work plan with the AIC for fiscal year 2026.

From November 6-26, 2025, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, The Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (ROAE2) has assigned four surveyors from the Agricultural Information Division to conduct field surveys of agricultural information in all six provinces under its responsibility (Tak, Sukhothai, Phrae, Nan, Uttaradit, and Phitsanulok) in accordance with the integrated work plan with the Agricultural Information Center (AIC) for fiscal year 2026. The surveys include:

  • Survey of production volume and establish test plots for yield per rai (crop cutting) for first-crop corn for the 2025/26 crop year.
  • Survey of agricultural production conditions using the Rural Rapid Appraisal (RRA) method for second-crop rice, cassava, potatoes, shallots, and coffee for the 2025/26 crop year. Pineapple, rubber, oil palm, and longan for the 2026 crop year. Swine, broiler, layer, raw milk (dairy cows), and beef cattle for the 2026 crop year.

The data obtained from the ROAE2 surveys will be recorded in the Agricultural Information Center’s database system. The data will be used for analysis and compilation at the provincial, regional, and national levels, as inputs for policy formulation and agricultural measures, to inform the country’s agricultural development plans.
