On November 20, 2025, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2, Phitsanulok), assigned Mr. Warit Chusakul, Director of the Research and Evaluation Division, to attend the opening ceremony of the “Developing Quality Sugarcane to Acknowledge Climate Change and Reduce PM 2.5” event. This event aims to encourage sugarcane farmers to adapt to climate change, enhance their understanding of high-quality sugarcane production, reduce sugarcane burning, a cause of PM 2.5, and support provincial policies to promote environmentally friendly agriculture. The event took place at the Phitsanulok-Phichit Sugarcane Farmers Association Hall, Phai Lom Subdistrict, Bang Krathum District, Phitsanulok Province. Mr. Boonluea Baramee, Deputy Governor of Phitsanulok Province, presided over the opening ceremony.
