On December 1-3, 2025, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2, Phitsanulok), assigned Miss. Wanwisa Thipbunthong, Senior Policy and Plan Analyst, and Miss. Kittiwan Prasitthiphon, Policy and Action Plan Analyst, to attend a workshop titled “Policy and Direction for Carbon Credit Promotion in the Agricultural Sector and the Situation of Carbon Credit Markets in Thailand and the Global Carbon Credit Market,” presented by Dr. Prutthipha Rochkittikhun. The workshop also featured the current situation of “vulnerability” and “adaptation” in the context of local agriculture in Thailand and abroad, and an analysis of farmers’ vulnerability to climate change, using vulnerability analysis, presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Witsanu Atthawanich. The workshop aimed to enhance knowledge and understanding, along with officials from ROAE1-12, in developing analytical thinking, data management, and systematic planning skills among personnel. This will enable effective implementation and build the potential of personnel to become a key force. To enhance the role of the OAE, the training was held in Meeting Room 3, 3rd floor, Innovation Building, OAE. Dr. Kanchana Khwanmueang, Deputy Secretary-General of the OAE, presided over the opening ceremony.
