Mr. Soybean, ROAE2, monitors the soybean situation for 2025/26 in six lower northern provinces. He urges soybean farmers to closely monitor blast and powdery mildew diseases to maintain product quality and meet market demands.

The Director of Office of the 2nd Regional Agricultural Economics (ROAE2) makes the following recommendations for ensuring stability and sustainability of soybean production for farmers at the local level:

  • Produce carefully, focusing on developing high-quality soybeans to raise prices and create incentives for production returns, encouraging farmers to maintain and expand their growing areas.
  • Encourage relevant agencies in the supply chain to integrate project proposals to plan and manage quality development and increase the efficiency of soybean production for true sustainability.

This initiative involves managing the production process systematically and in accordance with the local context, between agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives and other sectors.

Support can be requested from various budget sources, such as provincial development budgets, provincial cluster development budgets, or agricultural production restructuring fund assistance for farmers affected by trade liberalization to enhance national competitiveness.
