On December 18, 2025, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nr Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2, Phitsanulok), assigned Miss Panrada Tharuean, Director of the Agricultural Information Division, to attend the 1st Meeting of the Climate Change Committee and Working Group of Nan Province in 2026. This meeting was held under the project to develop a greenhouse gas reduction plan targeting carbon neutrality or net-zero greenhouse gas emissions. The meeting took place at the Chao Maha Phrom Surathada Meeting Room, 6th floor, Nan Provincial Hall, via Zoom Cloud Meeting. Mr. Sangkhom Khatchiangsaen, Deputy Governor of Nan Province, chaired the meeting.
During the meeting, ROAE2 presented a video from TDRA regarding the results of the project on climate change adaptation in the agricultural sector to enhance recovery and sustainability in highland areas. This case study examines the project in Buayai Subdistrict, Nan Noi District, Nan Province, which received technical assistance from the Japanese government through the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and had the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) as a consultant.
The purpose of this study was to inform the meeting about the findings and to utilize them in developing integrated project proposals to further develop and expand the project in the original project area or other areas in Nan Province.
