On January 22, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (ROAE2), along with Mrs. Suthathip Srisapphakit, Director of the Agricultural Economic Zone Development Planning Division, participated in the field-level brainstorming seminar to develop the Organic Agriculture Action Plan 2028-2032, the second of its kind, under the theme “Upgrading Thai Organic Agriculture to a Sustainable Future,” at the Tree Tara Hotel, Lampang Province. Mr. Phiraphan Khothong, Secretary-General of the Office of Agricultural Economics, presided over the opening ceremony, and Miss Tapi Watcharangkun, Director of the Agricultural Policy and Planning Division, presented the report.
Two presentations were given:
- A report on the implementation of the Organic Agriculture Action Plan 2023-2027 by Miss Tapi Watcharangkun, Director of the Agricultural Policy and Planning Division.
- Keys to success in sustainable organic agriculture development by Dr. Chomchuan Bunrahong, President of the Chiang Mai Provincial Healthy Food Council.
A brainstorming session was held on the draft Organic Agriculture Action Plan 2028-2032, covering the overall plan, development issues, and key projects for the next phase, along with an exchange of opinions and suggestions from the seminar participants.
