On January 23, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2, Phitsanulok), assigned Mr. Thanakorn Kaewcharoon, Senior Economist, and Mr. Latthaphon Kanlayanamit, Operational Economist, to attend the 1st meeting of the Subcommittee on Agricultural Economics Research Development and Monitoring and Evaluation, 2026. The purpose of the meeting was to follow up on the project audit plan for the Agricultural Sector Management for Value Addition and Market Opportunities in 2025 by the Internal Audit Group of the Office of Agricultural Economics, to receive updates on research and evaluation work of ROAE1-12, and to summarize the policy directives from the Secretary-General of the Office of Agricultural Economics. Miss Naritsara Iamkhui, Director of the 6th Regional Office of Agricultural Economics, chaired the meeting.
The matters for consideration include:
- The integrated research framework for 2026 for all four commodities (pineapple, avocado, pomelo, and banana).
- Revisions to the integrated research project proposals for 2027 for all three projects.
- Draft central agreement for outsourced research services and monitoring and evaluation projects of the 1st-12th Regional Offices of Agricultural Economics (ROAE1-12).
