On January 29, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2, Phitsanulok), assigned Mr. Chalermsin Intachaisri, Senior Statistician, to attend the first meeting of the Tak Province Agricultural Disaster Monitoring and Mitigation Center Committee for 2026. The meeting was held at the meeting room of the Tak Provincial Agricultural and Cooperatives Office, 2nd floor, Tak Provincial Hall, Mueang District, Tak Province. Mr. Sophat Chawankun, Inspector General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Inspection Region 17, and Director of the Tak Province Agricultural Disaster Monitoring and Mitigation Center, chaired the meeting.
The purpose of the meeting was to monitor the situation and impacts of agricultural disasters in Tak Province, drought monitoring, prevention of agricultural burning, assistance provided to farmers affected by agricultural disasters by relevant agencies, and to provide policy guidance on agricultural disaster management in the area. Emphasis was placed on raising awareness, prevention efforts, and integrated cooperation among all sectors, both within and outside the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, to ensure smooth disaster management operations. This can effectively prevent future incidents.
