Between January 8 and February 5, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (ROAE2), assigned staff from the Agricultural Information Division to conduct a field survey of the production status of 12 commodities using the RRA method. The survey covered rice, cassava, potatoes, and coffee for the 2025/2026 planting season; Pattawia pineapple, lychee, rambutan, and durian for the 2026 planting season; pigs, broiler chickens, laying hens, and beef cattle for the 2026 planting season. The survey covered six provinces within its jurisdiction (Tak, Sukhothai, Phrae, Nan, Uttaradit, and Phitsanulok), as part of a joint work plan with the Agricultural Information Center (AIC) for the 2026 fiscal year.
The data obtained from the survey will be recorded in the central AIC data system for analysis. The data is compiled into an overview at the provincial, regional, and national levels, and will be used as supporting information for policy and measure formulation in planning the country’s agricultural development in the future.
