From February 5th to March 5th, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2, Phitsanulok), assigned staff from the Agricultural Information Division of ROAE2 to conduct a field survey of cassava yield per rai using the crop cutting survey method in Tak, Sukhothai, Phrae, Nan, Uttaradit, and Phitsanulok provinces.
The objective was to survey cassava yield per rai using the crop cutting survey method in 2026, including listframe surveys, crop cutting surveys, surveys of lost yields, and surveys of unplanted and planted areas. The survey process began with counting farmer households, randomly selecting farmer households, randomly selecting sample plots, randomly selecting survey points, harvesting the yield, and measuring unplanted/planted areas. Record the survey results.
The survey data will be entered into the Agricultural Information Center’s processing program for overall yield per acre analysis.
