On February 14, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2 Phitsanulok), along with Mr. Latthapon Kanlayanamit, Operational Economist, and Miss Siriphen Wongwas, Operational Statistics Officer, participated in the ceremony of offering royal tributes and paying homage to the spirit of King Naresuan the Great.
The ceremony took place at the King Naresuan the Great Shrine, Chan Palace, Mueang Phitsanulok District, Phitsanulok Province. Mr. Kiattisak Trongsiri, Governor of Phitsanulok Province, presided over the event.
The ceremony included the presentation of a garland to the statue of the King’s sword. A floral wreath was laid as a tribute, incense and candles were lit, and three bows were offered before the offering ceremony. Incense and candles were lit as offerings were presented, with senior officials participating in placing the incense sticks. A scholar recited the incantation, and the chairman scattered rice grains and flowers, concluding the ceremony.
Phitsanulok Province holds the King Naresuan the Great Commemoration Festival annually to remember the benevolence and wisdom of King Naresuan the Great, particularly the significant historical event of his elephant duel with the Crown Prince of Burma.
