On February 26, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (ROAE2), participated in a meeting to monitor the progress of project implementation according to the inspection plan of the Inspector General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives for the fiscal year 2026, Round 1, Inspection Region 17, Phitsanulok Province. The meeting was held at Bang Kaeo Meeting Room, 2nd floor, Regional Livestock Office 6, Tha Thong Subdistrict, Mueang Phitsanulok District, Phitsanulok Province. Mr. Sophat Chawalakul, Inspector General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Inspection Region 17, chaired the meeting.
The morning session focused on monitoring the progress of project implementation according to the inspection plan of the Inspector General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives. Fiscal Year 2026, Round 1 (Project and Progress Review) focusing on key policies of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives in Phitsanulok Province and other related issues in the province, including:
- Policy 1: Expediting the allocation of agricultural land to farmers.
- Policy 2: Integrated water management.
- Policy 3: Upgrading high-value agricultural products and services.
- Policy 4: Strengthening the potential of farmers/agricultural institutions.
- Policy 5: Managing agricultural resources.
- Policy 6: Combating illegal agricultural product trafficking.
Other issues (Addressing local grievances / Royal Initiative projects / Agricultural disasters / Establishing an agricultural Project Bank).
Afternoon: Field visits to two locations as per the inspection plan: Phrom Phiram District and Wat Bot District, Phitsanulok Province.
The first location was Ban Mai Samran Community Enterprise for Fish Processing. It was the multi-purpose building at Moo 12, Tha Chang Subdistrict, Phrom Phiram District, Phitsanulok Province, to monitor the progress of the project promoting and developing community enterprise entrepreneurs of the Ban Mai Samran fish processing community enterprise. The activity involved a demonstration of making grilled fish chili paste.
The second location was the demonstration plot of farmer Mrs. Boonma Kulkhong’s rice paddy at Moo 1, Thang Ngam Subdistrict, Wat Bot District, Phitsanulok Province. This was to monitor the progress of the project applying sustainable rice production technology to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Activities included: 1. Methane capture in alternating wet-dry and flooded rice paddy fields; and 2. Using drone photography to survey the rice paddies.
