Between March 9-16, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (ROAE2), assigned Mr. Chat Naowaphananon, Senior Statistician, to conduct the second field visit to monitor lychee, longan, and durian production for the year 2026 in Tak, Sukhothai, Phrae, Nan, Uttaradit, and Phitsanulok provinces. The objective was to monitor the flowering and fruiting situation of lychee, longan, and durian at farmers’ orchards in preparation for the second 2026 Northern Thailand fruit production estimation report. This will be done in collaboration with the sub-committee for developing a data and logistics system in Northern Thailand, to plan for managing future market entry.
