On April 30, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2 Phitsanulok), assigned Miss Kittiwarn Prasittipol, Practitioner Policy and Plan Analyst, to attend the Phrae Provincial Agricultural Steering Committee (SCP) Meeting No. 2/2026 via Zoom. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Manun Rattana-ubon, Phrae Provincial Agriculture and Cooperatives Officer.
There were 9 matters for information:
- The main policies of the Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives and the delegation of authority to supervise government agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives.
- The water situation in Phrae province.
- The report on agricultural economic conditions in the 1st quarter of 2026 and the trends for 2026 in Phrae province.
- The implementation of the agricultural career promotion and income generation project for the Mlabri community in Phrae province.
- The high-value agricultural products and services project: 1 Locality, 1 High-Value Agricultural Product.
- The preparation of the Phrae Provincial Agricultural and Cooperatives Development Plan (2028 – 2032).
- The local-level agricultural data collection project: the activity of preparing a data set for the village-level agricultural development plan.
- The progress report on the implementation of projects under the provincial agricultural and cooperatives action plan for the fiscal year 2026, Quarter 2.
- The assistance measures for farmers affected by the conflict situation in the Middle East region.
There were 7 matters for consideration:
- Following up on the progress of operations according to the comments and suggestions of the Privy Councilors and the Subcommittee for Tracking and Driving the Royal Initiative Projects at the local level.
- The organization of mobile service unit activities to develop the potential of community enterprises.
- The implementation of the large-scale agricultural extension system project to increase the productivity of those no longer receiving budget support.
- The quality grading and lesson-learned extraction of large-scale plots (rice) for the fiscal year 2025.
- The preparation of the area development plan and the support for the provincial Royal Initiative Projects through the One Plan process.
- Rice production to support the community liquor industry and the appointment of a provincial-level committee.
- The large-scale agricultural extension system project for livestock.
In this regard, the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics presented the report on agricultural economic conditions in the 1st quarter of 2026 and the trends for 2026 of Phrae province to the meeting for acknowledgement, so that relevant agencies could utilize it for effective agricultural product management.
