On June 17, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2), alongside Miss Panrada Tharuean, Director of the Agricultural Information Division, and Mr. Chat Naowaphananon, Senior Statistician, attended a workshop titled “Improving the Efficiency of Compiling Safe Agricultural Product Information”. The event was held at the Na Chan Resort & Sports Club Hotel, Mueang Chanthaburi District, Chanthaburi Province.
The seminar brought together regional directors and officers from the agricultural information divisions of ROAE 1–12, officials from the central Center for Agricultural Information, and relevant personnel across the Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE).
During the first day of the workshop, the ROAE2 delegation attended lectures, presented regional findings, and exchanged strategic insights on the following key areas:
- Global Market Competitiveness: A lecture on “Enhancing the Competitive Potential of Thai Economic Fruits by Utilizing Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) Certificates for the Global Market,” delivered by Mr. Alongkot Uthaithanakit, Director of the Technology Transfer Group, Office of Agricultural Research and Development Region 6.
- Eastern Region Case Study: Lessons learned, opportunities, and challenges in compiling safe agricultural and fruit data for the Eastern Region, presented by representatives from ROAE6 and the 3rd Regional Agricultural Extension and Development Office (Rayong Province).
- Northern Region Case Study: Lessons learned, opportunities, and challenges in compiling safe agricultural and fruit data for the Northern Region, co-presented by Miss Pariyaphorn Saenkhat, Director of the Agricultural Information Division of ROAE1, and Miss Panrada Tharuean, Director of the Agricultural Information Division of ROAE2.
- Southern Region Case Study: Lessons learned, opportunities, and challenges in compiling safe agricultural and fruit data for the Southern Region, presented by representatives from ROAE8 and the 5th Regional Agricultural Extension and Development Office (Songkhla Province).
- Yield Forecasting Methodologies: A briefing on the methodologies for setting up forecasting plots for fruit yields, delivered by Miss Saowakhon Nusit, Head of the Strategy and Information Group, Chanthaburi Provincial Agricultural Office.
- Interactive Panel Discussion: An open dialogue exchanging ideas on the technical aspects of “Establishing Fruit Yield Forecasting Plots and Compiling Daily (10-Day Interval) Production Percentages.”
