On June 18, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2 Phitsanulok), assigned Miss Rungthiwa Thappaen, Operational Economist, to participate in the 6/2026 Meeting of the Committee for the Center to Monitor and Resolve Agricultural Disasters in Uttaradit Province.
The meeting took place at the Uttaradit Provincial Office of Agriculture and Cooperatives meeting room and via Zoom Cloud Meetings. The session was chaired by Miss Kanokorn Saengarun, Uttaradit Provincial Agricultural and Cooperatives Officer.
The primary objective of the meeting was to acknowledge and review key regional reports, disaster tracking metrics, and ongoing environmental management strategies, detailed as follows:
- Weather & Water Infrastructure: Local weather updates alongside water supply status and strategic water management plans for Uttaradit Province.
- Royal Rainmaking Operations: Progress updates and operational outcomes of royal rainmaking missions within the province.
- Disaster Tracking: Current localized disaster developments and affected areas.
- Agricultural Burning & Haze Mitigation: Comprehensive summaries on open burning prevention, including:
- An overview of the forest fire and seasonal haze/smog situation.
- Burn area spatial data collected from January to May 2026.
- Execution results of prevention and mitigation protocols for crop-burning in agricultural zones during the 2025/2026 cycle.
- Dry Season Disaster Mitigation: A summary of the agricultural disaster prevention and relief operations implemented during the 2025/2026 dry season.
- Early Warnings & Sectoral Assistance: Surveillance systems, emergency warning alerts, and relief assistance workflows across three primary agricultural sectors:
- Crops: Tracking the 2026 cultivation status and agricultural warning bulletins.
- Fisheries & Livestock: Specialized monitoring systems and sector-specific updates.
- Commodity Price Reporting: A detailed economic report on the market prices of regional agricultural produce hitting the market in June 2026.
