On June 23, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2), attended a virtual preparatory meeting via Zoom. The session was held to organize and align upcoming budget defense testimonies before the House Scrutiny Committee regarding the Draft Fiscal Year 2027 Annual Budget Appropriations Bill. The meeting was presided over and chaired by Mr. Piranphan Khothong, Secretary-General of the Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE).
The meeting agendas were structured into the following operational segments:
To acknowledge 2 matters, namely:
- Defense Preparation Guidelines: The strategic workflows, protocols, and preparation guidelines for presenting testimonies before the Extraordinary Committee considering the Draft FY 2027 Annual Budget Appropriations Act.
- OAE Draft Budget Allocation: The comprehensive breakdown of the Draft Fiscal Year 2027 Annual Budget Appropriations allocated to the Office of Agricultural Economics.
To consider 2 matters, namely:
- Clarification Documentation: Reviewing and refining the draft supporting documents and evidentiary reports compiled for submission to the House Scrutiny Committee.
- Multimedia Presentation: Deliberating on the structure and content of the video presentation designed to accompany and support the OAE’s oral budget defense before the panel.
