On August 11, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2 Phitsanulok), assigned Mrs. Suthathip Srisapphakit, Director of the Agricultural Economic Zone Development Plan Division, to attend the progress monitoring meeting on operational results under the Fiscal Year 2026 Inspection Plan (Round 2) for Inspection Zone 16 (Nan and Phrae provinces) via the Zoom online system. Mr. Phonthep Srithanathon, Inspector General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives for Inspection Zone 16, presided over the meeting.
The objective of the meeting was to clarify Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives policies and project implementations to foster shared understanding across local areas within the inspection zone, as well as to review and monitor operational progress under the Inspector General’s Fiscal Year 2026 Inspection Plan (Round 2) across 6 key policy areas:
- Policy 1: Upgrading production through technology and innovation
- Policy 2: Increasing farmers’ income
- Policy 3: Developing farmers’ potential
- Policy 4: Market-led production
- Policy 5: Sustainable, holistic water resource management
- Policy 6: Other key issues, including organic fertilizer promotion, Royal Initiative projects, agricultural disasters, and integrated agricultural development initiatives.
On this occasion, the Inspector General issued directives and guidance for project implementation to local agencies to ensure operations align with project objectives and yield maximum benefits for farmers.
