On August 31, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2), attended the 2/2026 Provincial Climate Change Steering Committee and Working Group Driving the Provincial Greenhouse Gas Reduction Action Plan Meeting (Phitsanulok Province) at the King Naresuan the Great Meeting Room (772), 7th Floor, Phitsanulok City Hall, with Mr. Nisit Sawaddithep, Deputy Governor of Phitsanulok Province, presiding over the meeting.
The meeting was held to acknowledge the progress monitoring and operational results under the Provincial Greenhouse Gas Reduction Plan (2024–2026) of the province.
The meeting was held to consider 3 matters, namely:
- Net Zero GHG Emission Plan
- Carbon Neutrality Plan
- Provincial Business Model
On this occasion, the Director of ROAE2 shared comments regarding the elevation of the climate change action plan to enhance adaptation in the agricultural sector for the meeting’s acknowledgment. Presentation media on this topic will also be prepared for heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives at the provincial level across the 6 provinces under its jurisdiction. This initiative aims to foster understanding of operations and monitoring for national-level reporting, as the central Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE)—through OAE senior executives and the Bureau of Agricultural Economic Research—serves as the Focal Point for the agricultural sector.
