On April 8, 2026, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (ROAE2, Phitsanulok), attended a workshop on lessons learned from the Bang Rakam Model project in 2025 at the Convention Room, Wangchan River River Hotel, Mueang District, Phitsanulok Province. Mr. Nisit Sawatdithep, Deputy Governor of Phitsanulok Province, presided over the meeting. Mr. Somjitthipong Amnajsarn, Director of the Irrigation Office Region 3 (Phitsanulok), presented the report. Heads of government agencies within and outside the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, farmers, and agricultural institutions from the Bang Rakam Model project area participated in the event. the Director of the ROAE2 presented the evaluation results of the Bang Rakam Model project in 2018, focusing on the tangible successes of the project over the past nine years (2017-2025) in terms of water management, economics, and society. He also highlighted limitations and challenges requiring development and improvement from various sectors. Furthermore, he proposed guidelines for driving the Bang Rakam Model in 2026 towards becoming a national model for sustainable water management, through integrated planning among provincial-level agencies from all sectors in three phases: before the flood, during the flood, and after the flood. Following this, workshop participants brainstormed and reviewed lessons learned from the 2025 Bang Rakam Model implementation, suggesting solutions to address various needs to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the 2026 Bang Rakam Model project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
